What does Nabi mean?

Nabi means butterfly in Korean, symbolizing growth and gentle strength. We care for the whole family because when one member heals, it creates waves of positive change for everyone.

What makes Nabi different?

We specialize in whole-family healing with deep understanding that families are interconnected systems. Our approach centers belonging and connection.

Do you offer in-person and online therapy?

Yes. We provide both in-person sessions at our California offices and secure online therapy through HIPAA-compliant platforms for clients who are physically in California or Oregon.

What should we expect in our first session?

Your first session is an intake to understand what brings you to therapy, your family's strengths and goals, and whether we're a good fit.

Who are the founders?

Linda Yoon, LCSW, and Soo Jin Lee, LMFT. Both are experienced therapists who co-authored 'Where I Belong: Healing Trauma and Embracing Asian American Identity.'

Do you work with all types of families?

Absolutely. We welcome families of all configurations, cultures, and backgrounds.

What credentials do your therapists have?

Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals with training in family systems, trauma-informed care, EMDR, Gottman Method, and culturally responsive approaches.

Do you offer therapy for children and teens?

Yes. We create safe environments where young people can explore emotions and develop coping strategies, working closely with parents.

Do you provide crisis support?

We don't provide emergency services. If you're in crisis, please call 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Do you specialize in Asian American families?

We have deep background here and provide inclusive care to clients from all walks of life and cultures.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ families?

Yes. We are proud to be an affirming practice.

Can you help with postpartum?

Yes. We have specialized training in perinatal mental health.

Fees

Fees & insurance

What are your therapy rates?

Sessions are $175–250. Sliding scale spots are limited but available.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently in-network with Cigna PPO, Aetna PPO, Optum/United Health, and Anthem Blue Cross, in California. Availability varies by therapist, please contact us to verify. We also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations with less notice will be charged a cancellation fee.
