Hi, I'm Andy. Let's create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood, without any judgment.

I do this work because I deeply believe in the power of empathy and in how healing it is to feel truly understood. My hope is that you come to know your inner world more fully, recognize your own strengths, and feel empowered to live more freely and authentically, guided by your values. It is a true privilege to walk alongside my clients as they process and rewrite their own stories. I also hold close the belief that when one person begins to heal, the ripple effects strengthen the relationships and family around them.

My approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw mainly from psychodynamic and depth-oriented therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, mindfulness, holistic and Rogerian approaches, somatic work, family systems, and narrative therapy. I create an authentic, collaborative space where you can explore relational patterns, build adaptive communication and coping skills, and process deep-seated emotional experiences at your own pace.

Working With Me

I enjoy working with anyone seeking to understand their relational patterns and heal from trauma. I thrive in helping clients explore their inner world in a safe, collaborative space, guiding them toward deeper self-acceptance and meaningful change. My hope is that you develop a stronger sense of self-compassion, clarity, and agency as you navigate your own journey, and that you leave feeling genuinely supported, more self-aware, and more resilient in building an authentic life.

Culture, Identity, and Belonging

As a 1.5-generation bilingual Korean immigrant, I hold an understanding of both Western and Eastern cultural values, and I lead with cultural humility. I know firsthand how it feels to live between languages, expectations, and worlds, and how deeply family and belonging shape who we become. I offer a grounded, affirming space for those navigating Asian American and immigrant experiences, questions of identity, and the intergenerational patterns carried within families. Therapy is offered in both English and Korean. 한국어 상담 가능합니다.

Healing That Reaches the Whole Family

So much of who we are takes shape within our families, and our relational patterns are often first learned at home. Using family systems and relational approaches, I help clients understand the dynamics that have shaped them and find healthier, more connected ways of relating to the people they love. As individuals grow in self-awareness and self-compassion, those changes ripple outward, strengthening their closest relationships and the family system as a whole. Every family deserves a safe place to grow, connect, and belong together.

Affirming, Trauma-Informed Support

I hold LGBTQIA+ affirmative and trauma-informed approaches at the center of my work, creating a safe, reflective space where clients can process their emotions and explore their inner world without judgment. For those carrying spiritual questions or healing from religious trauma, I offer a thoughtful, nonjudgmental space to make sense of belief, meaning, and identity on their own terms. Clients often share that they feel seen and understood, and that they value the space we build together.
